Physics Technician

The Opportunity

Permanent, 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks

Salary will be dependant upon experience and qualifications.

We wish to appoint an experienced Technician to provide practical support to a highly successful Physics Faculty.

The successful applicant will assist in the smooth running of the Faculty, providing equipment and materials for practical lessons, general housekeeping within the classrooms and pro-actively working as part of a small Physics team.  You will have a good understanding of Health & Safety as you will be expected to provide a clean, safe working environment.  Previous experience of working in a similar environment is highly desirable.

Ideally you will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, be able to work accurately under pressure and be able to prepare materials from written instruction.
