Head of Academic PE

The Opportunity

We are seeking to recruit a Head of Academic PE, into a thriving and successful Sports department at the senior school.

At Gresham’s we offer a rare opportunity where children can join us at our Nursery and Pre-Prep School from the age of 2 and continue with their education at our Prep and Senior Schools to the age of 18. Founded in 1555 and located in the heart of North Norfolk, Gresham’s is a thriving co-educational school set across 300 acres of countryside, just minutes from award-winning beaches and areas of natural beauty.

We are currently looking to recruit an outstanding and experienced Head of Academic PE into a thriving and successful sports department. The successful applicant will be responsible for co-ordinating PE and Sports Science across the senior school.

The ideal candidate will possess previous experience of teaching and leading sports to IB level along with coaching games, which is a requirement of the role throughout the school and across all three terms. The pastoral aspects of the role will involve acting as an academic tutor along with supporting a boarding house with an evening duty.
