About the role:
We are recruiting a Director of Finance and Business Activities. This is a newly created role and will report to the Bursar with a dotted line to the Head of Trent College. Involvement with the school Governors who sit on the Finance and Estates sub-committee will be a key responsibility within the role.
The role spans activities at the senior school, Trent College, and the junior school, The Elms, by virtue of them being part of the same limited company and charity, Trent College Limited.
The role will oversee a whole school budget and the successful post holder will have direct line-management responsibility of, and work closely with, the Head of Finance and Director of Information Systems. These two Department Leadership roles directly line-manage 9 team members.
The Director of Finance and Business Activities will be a member of the Executive Leadership Team, working alongside the two Heads, Bursar, three Deputy Heads and the Director of Operations. The role is also part of the wider Senior Leadership Team.
The Director of Finance and Business Activities will hold the regulatory responsibilities of Privacy Compliance Lead and Company Secretary at the school.
