It’s a fascinating time to join Queen’s College, London as the independent school sector goes through some of the biggest changes in its history. We are looking for a Head of Finance to lead the Finance function through this period and continue the work to ensure that Queen’s continues to thrive. With a 176-year-old history and positioned on Harley Street in W1, we are in an exciting location and have ambitious plans to continue our commitment to educating the trailblazing women of tomorrow.
The finance team have been on a journey of modernisation and this role will continue to progress this with new systems and procedures being embedded across both schools. However, this role will also involve working closely with a senior strategic team to look at the future growth of Queen’s both domestically and internationally.
The role requires someone who can deliver a strategic finance function, whilst still being involved in the day-to-day operational aspects with the team. However, there is plenty of room for this role to grow. We need someone who thrives on embedding a procedure and identifying the most efficient way to deliver on our objectives.
With a strong belief in the value of education, we need a Head of Finance to play an enabling role in ensuring our income can drive forward the best educational provision for our students.
