We offer a comprehensive programme of professional development
training courses designed to keep bursars and members of the senior
management team up-to-date with the key issues affecting
independent schools. Most of these are held in the autumn and
Themed one day events for our member schools include Safer
Recruitment training, Health and Safety, HR, Finance, Estates
Management, IT and Inspections.
Whilst many of our training courses are available to member
schools only, certain courses may be available to

"So you want to be a bursar?"
Our next "So you want to be a bursar?" course will now
take place as two webinar sessions on 12 and 14 January 2021.
They will inform and guide those who are considering a career in
the independent schools' sector as either a bursar or senior member
of the support staff.
Each webinar will run from 11am to 12 noon.
