St Mary's Music School is recruiting for a full-time Finance Manager to work alongside the School Bursar and HR & Finance Administrator, as part of a small team dealing with all aspects of the school’s financial and operational matters.
The successful candidate will be an experienced professional accountant, ideally part or fully qualified, or qualified by experience, who is able to lead the operational management of the finance function. They will have knowledge of the full range of financial functions, including budgeting, management accounts, statutory accounts, purchase and sales leger work, and financial regulation. Additional experience in payroll processing and charity legislation would be beneficial.
The post-holder should be able to work independently and as part of a small team. This is an exciting time in the school’s history and the post will offer an opportunity to become an important member of the School’s support team.
This is a full-time, permanent post of 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday; flexible working or reduced hours may be considered for appropriately qualified and experienced candidates. The school offers competitive salary rates, a generous holiday allowance and a contributory pension scheme.
