GRADUATE ASSISTANT – OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
If you have a passion for Outdoor Activities, and are keen to experience life working at a busy co-education boarding school then becoming a Graduate Assistant at Marlborough College could be for you. We offer Climbing, Kayaking/Canoeing, Mountain Biking, Sub Aqua and mountain walking, so experience of assisting with any of these activities would be an advantage.
Marlborough’s vibrant community of Graduate Assistants are an invaluable part of College life; supporting pupils with activities beyond the classroom. A key element of this rewarding opportunity is to encourage and mentor pupils on and off campus ensuring that their health, safety and welfare are protected.
You will be a Graduate (or recognised alternative) with a specialism directly relevant to outdoor activities.
You will be energetic, enthusiastic, have a natural rapport with young people as well as a genuine interest in, and commitment to, their care and development.
We provide a contract, from 1st September 2019 through to 3rd July 2020 with a salary of £11,000 averaged over the period, furnished accommodation, payment of council tax and utility bills, laundry facilities, meals during term-time, but more importantly, a fantastic opportunity and fulfilling experience.
