An energetic, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial Director of Finance & Operations is required to help lead the development of the Wishford group of independent schools.
This is an exciting new board-level position within a high-growth business, which will suit a dynamic and highly-organised leader with strong management skills and a hands-on approach.
The successful candidate is likely to have experience of working in a customer-facing multi-site service business, either in education, an analogous sector (such as healthcare, retail, hospitality or leisure), or in the armed forces.
The Director of Finance & Operations will work closely with the Executive Chairman and Director of Education & Strategy to deliver the group’s vision, taking primary responsibility for:
- Leading all non-teaching operations within the group, taking a hands-on approach to ensure the smooth running of the group’s portfolio of schools and central shared-services team;
- Developing and implementing common systems and procedures across the group to achieve efficiencies, ensure compliance and facilitate the sharing of best practice; and
- Managing the operational integration of new schools joining the group.
