The ISBA Annual Conference returns to Torquay in 2009 and will take place on Wednesday 13th May and Thursday 14th May 2009. Once again we are using the Riviera International Conference Centre (RICC) for the daytime events and the Exhibition Area will again be located in the Arena.

Sponsorship and Exhibition - Key Dates

Below are the key dates in the 2009 planning cycle:

• Monday 1st September 2008 – Information posted to companies that had requested this information and floor plans and stand costs made available on the ISBA website for viewing purposes only.
• Friday 12th September 2008 - Full booking information and the on-line application facility made available on the ISBA website.
• Friday 3rd October 2008 at 17:00 - Sponsorship and Exhibition application closed.
• Week beginning 6th October 2008 - Sponsor and Exhibitor lists reviewed.
• Week beginning 20th October 2008 – Confirmation of exhibitors and stand numbers.

It is anticipated that a broadly similar timescale will follow for the 2010 Conference.

A draft programme of events for the 2009 Annual Conference is currently being prepared, therefore, at this stage, the following details and timings are only provisional.
 
The Exhibition set up will be from 13.30 on Tuesday 12th May 2009, with breakdown after 16.00 on Thursday 14th May 2009. In order to give delegates maximum time with the Exhibitors, it is planned to open the Exhibition from 09.30 until 17.30 on Wednesday 13th May 2009 and also to invite schools, within reasonable travelling distance, to send their staff to view the Exhibition. The Exhibition Area will be open again to delegates from 09.00 on the Thursday morning.

Complimentary tea and coffee breaks for delegates and exhibitors are scheduled to take place in the Exhibition Area. For each exhibiting company, two tickets for lunch on Wednesday 13th May 2009 will be included. We hope to make arrangements to allow exhibitors to purchase additional lunch tickets, if required. A buffet lunch for all delegates and exhibitors will be provided on Thursday 14th May 2009.

The ISBA warmly invites all sponsors and exhibitors to join with members on the evening of Wednesday 13th May 2009 for a Drinks Reception. Straight after this Reception, we hope that representatives from all companies will join with our members for dinner. The Association’s Annual Dinner will be held on Thursday 14th May 2009. Sponsors’ representatives will be guests of the Association at this dinner (in accordance with the sponsorship agreement).
